Event Location
The Swing Fore SCORES Tournament will be held at New Berlin Hills Golf Course on Friday, August 2nd, 2024. Formerly known as Woodmont Country Club, this private club was founded in 1907. New Berlin Hills was built as a typical design for its day, not long by today’s standards but very challenging around the greens. Overall yardage varies from 5,346 to 6,517 with four sets of tees from which to choose based on your experience level. New Berlin Hills Golf Course both exhibits a layout that requires skillful play and exudes a natural beauty unique to the area. All this makes New Berlin Hills a course you won’t forget and will want to come back and play again.

There is a great need to improve the health, well-being and academic achievement of students attending schools throughout the city of Milwaukee. Neighborhoods where SCORES operates have soaring poverty rates, increasing obesity levels and low academic achievement. For children in urban Milwaukee, the early opportunity to participate in meaningful activities with a team of their peers can change the course of their lives.
This year, 100% of the proceeds from the Swing Fore SCORES Tournament will engage at-risk children in a daily after-school program integrating soccer, literacy and service-learning activities. By creating a synergy between soccer, literacy and service learning, youth learn valuable skills needed for success in school and in life.
